We offer consignment services for quality used saddles and maintain a curated inventory of new, demo, and pre-owned saddles for sale.

Saddles must be in safe, serviceable condition with a sound tree and panels. Each saddle is inspected prior to acceptance. Consigned saddles are photographed, marketed to our client network, and used in fittings when appropriate to help find the best match.

Seven-day trials are available on select saddles with a signed agreement and payment method on file.

Our on-site saddle fit evaluation assesses your saddle based on your horse’s conformation and current body condition. This service includes both a static (unmounted) and dynamic (mounted) fit assessment, along with any appropriate adjustments at the time of the appointment.

We are able to adjust natural or synthetic wool flocking and exchangeable headplates. We do not adjust foam or felt panels and do not alter saddle trees using tree presses.

Routine fit evaluations are recommended at least twice per year. For wool-flocked saddles, we can make flocking adjustments to address compression or imbalance. Regular maintenance helps keep your horse comfortable and supports the longevity and structural integrity of your saddle.

Comprehensive saddle fitting services for custom, demo, and pre-owned saddles. This appointment is designed to help you find the best saddle for both horse and rider.

A full evaluation includes a static assessment, wither tracings, back palpation, symmetry and gait analysis, and a mounted fit evaluation. An unlimited number of saddles may be tried during the appointment.

Many in-stock saddles are available for seven-day trials following the fitting.

We offer professional flocking services using 100% natural wool to maintain proper saddle balance and comfort for your horse.

Spot Flocking
Performed during your scheduled appointment to address minor imbalance, compression, or bridging.

Full Flocking Replacement
Completed off-site and recommended when flocking is compacted, uneven, or at the end of its lifespan. This service includes a full inspection and fit assessment prior to replacement and an initial fit check once the new wool is installed.

Pricing

• Spot flocking: $125–$250 per saddle
• Full reflocking: $400 per saddle

Virtual saddle fit evaluations are available for clients outside our travel area or between in-person visits.

You will submit photos and videos of your horse, the saddle, and you riding. We assess balance, contact, wither and spinal clearance, stability, horse response, and rider suitability. A live video session may also be requested.

Please note: Because virtual evaluations are not conducted in person, we can provide only a general assessment of saddle fit and suitability based on visual observations. We may offer recommendations for adjustments, pads, girths, or alternative saddles if the current saddle appears unsuitable.

We cannot guarantee fit, suitability, or soundness of a saddle based solely on virtual evaluation. For the most accurate assessment, we recommend an in-person appointment using Society of Master Saddlers standards.
